Offshoots, Inc. seeks a full-time, paid Planting Installation Intern to join our Boston design-build team starting as soon as possible and continuing through midsummer, with the opportunity to stay on longer for the right candidate.

Offshoots is a landscape architecture and horticultural installation practice focused on creating sustainable, ecologically sound landscapes. Daily internship responsibilities will include planting and soils installation, garden maintenance, and other field-based landscape work.

Preferred candidates will have prior outdoor work experience, ideally in landscaping, horticulture, or farming, along with a strong interest in sustainable landscape design. Experience installing trees, shrubs, and other garden materials is strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 70+ lbs consistently and work in varying weather conditions.

Interns will be exposed to sustainable horticultural landscape design techniques and will be trained in the proper installation of plants and garden maintenance practices. An internship with Offshoots could turn into a permanent position with the right candidate.
