We are excited to welcome Ryan Corrigan to Offshoots as our new Director of Ecological Services.

Ryan is a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist and ecological restoration professional with more than 10 years of experience installing and managing complex horticulture projects across New England. His work spans a wide range of project types and scales, from small residential sites to large public park installations, diverse corporate/residential meadows, and even a 20‑acre wildlife sanctuary restoration in Maine.

Ryan’s background is especially aligned with Offshoots’ mission to integrate design, horticulture, and ecology in meaningful ways. He holds a degree in Ecological Design and Sustainable Planning from the Conway School of Landscape Design and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He began his career working in his family’s landscape design/build company, where he built a strong foundation in both design aesthetics and ecological systems. That combination continues to inform his professional work today, allowing him to bring both technical rigor and design sensitivity to the landscapes he helps restore and steward.

Through extensive fieldwork and site-based testing, Ryan has developed deep technical expertise in native horticulture aesthetics, ecological restoration, invasive species management, green infrastructure, living shorelines, and meadow design and establishment. His approach is rooted in ecological science and shaped by practical, on-the-ground problem solving, helping create resilient, productive, and enduring landscapes. Ryan is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner in Training (CERPIT), a Massachusetts Certified Invasive Species Management Specialist, a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturalist, and a National Green Infrastructure Certified Practitioner (NGICP).

As Director of Ecological Services, Ryan will work with our existing strong horticulture team to expands Offshoots’ capacity to deliver thoughtful, science-based landscape solutions that support biodiversity, ecological function, and long-term resilience. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to the expertise, leadership, and field knowledge he brings to our team and our work across New England.

Welcome, Ryan!
