Tonight, Offshoots Principal Shelby Chapman-Hale will join VT Fish & Wildlife’s Dead Creek Speaker series for Think Globally, Plant Locally – a presentation and discussion on supporting Vermont’s pollinators in our own backyards.
Shelby will speak about the essential role pollinators play in healthy landscapes, the pressures contributing to their decline, and practical steps homeowners and communities can take to create more supportive habitats. From plant selection to maintenance practices, small landscape decisions can add up to meaningful ecological value.
The talk will be held tonight, July 8th, at 5:30pm at the Dead Creek Visitor Center in Addison, Vermont.
