A new project has just landed on our website! Meet our Beacon Hill Courtyard, a contemporary garden tucked into the heart of the city and designed as an extension of the family room.
The courtyard brings together Jet Mist granite paving, warm thermally modified wood, and the existing brick walls of the home. Custom metal planters create a lush edge of birches and woodland perennials, adding texture and movement to the clean lines of the space.
We worked alongside Shake Architecture + Construction on the transformation of the home and courtyard. One of our favorite details is the integrated lighting tucked beneath the bench and behind the slatted wood fence. At night, the lighting creates warm bands of light across the courtyard, adding depth and a soft glow to the space.
