Offshoots, Inc. seeks a spring/ summer intern to join our Boston design-build team for the Summer of 2024. Ideal candidates would start in late April/ Early May and continue to work with the Offshoots team through the summer months. There is also the opportunity to work part of full time into the fall with the right candidate.

Daily internship responsibilities will include planting and soils installation and garden maintenance. Qualified candidates will have prior experience working outdoors in the field (ideally previously with a landscaping company or farm) and a strong interest in horticulture.

Preferred candidates will have previous experience working outside and can work outside in varying weather conditions. Previous experience planting/installing trees and garden materials is strongly preferred. A strong interest and general knowledge of horticulture or environmentally sustainable landscape design is essential. Must have the ability to lift 70+lbs consistently.

Interns will be exposed to sustainable horticultural landscape design techniques and will be trained in the proper installation of plants and garden maintenance practices.

Part-time spring, summer and fall opportunities are also available. An internship with Offshoots could turn into a permanent position with the right candidate after graduation.

Our office is located within walking distance to the Orange Line/ Sullivan Square in Charlestown, MA. Workday is from 6:00am to 3:00pm on weekdays. Flexible hours and part time positions possible. No weekend or holiday work requirements.
