From schematic design of a 30 acre Hudson River brownfield to installation of courtyard gardens in Boston, 2017 has been a whirlwind here at Offshoots! We started the season by welcoming Josh Brown (currently studying landscape architecture at the BAC) and Mark Delaney (our new Horticultural Installation Manager) to our team. We stopped to celebrate receiving a BSLA Merit Award for our work on the Route 6 Stormwater and Vegetation Management Plan and recently we found out that Kate’s ‘PHYTO’ book will be released in hardcover! We’re excited that phytoremediation is getting more traction; Kate presented at two national lectures through the EPA and the Center for Creative Land Recycling, as well as at UPenn, the University of Oregon, at ASLA in Los Angeles, and IPC in Montreal. Sam and Merlin are still sleeping on the job (Woof!) and we’re all excited to have a relaxing winter season. It’s been a great year and we thank you for being a part of it!
Our office will be closed December 25th – January 1st to celebate the holidays. We look forward to working with you in 2018!
