Offshoots Inc. is very excited to announce two new members to the Offshoots team: Emily Humphrey and Julie Salvatoriello. Emily is a welcome addition to the Offshoots Inc. design team. Emily is a landscape designer from Providence, RI, where she worked for several years after receiving her degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island. She has a background in horticulture and a passion for ecology and design. She is very excited to be here in Boston and be part of the Offshoots Team! In her free time Emily enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time by the ocean.
Julie will be taking on administration, office management and marketing for our growing firm, as well as reception and assistant billing. Julie joins the firm after working in a similar position at another Boston-based, woman-led landscape architecture firm. Julie brings a background of regenerative design, permaculture, and climate activism. Julie comes to her marketing and admin role with an earnest fascination with the communication of ideas through artistic expression as well as the written word. Julie is more of a cat person than a dog person. Our office dogs, Sam and Merlin, are learning to forgive her.
