Office Manager

Offshoots, Inc. is seeking an Office Administrative Manager for 40 hours a week. The position will involve a combination of in-office work and remote work. The candidate will assist in managing business operations and day-to-day activities of the firm – from bookkeeping to marketing and office upkeep.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  QuickBooks data entry, processing accounts payable and receivable, processing timesheets and payroll, responding to new client inquiries, answering phones, supply ordering, scanning, filing, and upkeeping office space, requesting permits, staff travel arrangements, printing, plant ordering, completing marketing proposals, computer & software setup, hiring postings, updating the website with text and photography.

Successful candidates must be able to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and be a team player, able to operate while proactively reaching out within the firm to find solutions, anticipate the needs of the principal, and have excellent attention to detail; maintain a level of confidentiality and professional manner; support office of 10-12 staff by assisting with various tasks.

The position requires knowledge/experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office. Experience with Dropbox, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), QuickBooks, and graphic design skills are highly desirable. Some interest or experience in Landscape Design or Landscape Architecture experience preferred.
